Efficiency and remote access 

eSiteview has brought improvements to everyday life. Virtual 360° views and measurement tools make it easier to create instructions for maintenance technicians, among others. Remote access has reduced travel and enabled flexible collaboration both within the company and with neighboring experts. New employees and contractors can also familiarize themselves with the premises and safety practices virtually before starting work on site.

Collaboration and safety

The shared visual platform has improved communication between different departments and with external partners. Contractors can prepare for work in advance, which saves time and increases safety. In project management, eSiteview supports source data and documentation throughout the project.

The system has brought a new dimension to safety: risk areas and escape routes can be visualized, and virtual safety tours enable risks to be identified before physically visiting the site. This has increased staff safety awareness and strengthened emergency preparedness.

Sustainable and resource-efficient

Remote access reduces travel and thus supports Eckes-Granini's environmental goals. Remote access is also particularly useful in the early stages of projects, when understanding the site and its surroundings helps with planning and decision-making. In addition, it supports meetings and joint discussions, as all parties have a clear and consistent picture of what is being discussed, Suomalainen notes.

Staff feedback on eSiteview has been positive: the system makes work easier, improves collaboration, and generates savings. The implementation went smoothly, and in the future, the use of the system will be expanded to other sites and integrated into maintenance systems and new technologies.
